Alana was also a poetry teaching assistant for the Jiménez-Porter Writers’ House living and learning program at the university. Post-collegiate accolades of Alana's include recognition from 92NY, ACES: The Society for Editing, the MDDC Press Association, the University of Maryland MFA Program in Creative Writing, and the Lannan Fellows Program. She's worked on everything from blogs to AV content to social to brand storytelling landing pages. Two of her IG posts for Scholastic Book Clubs were the most liked and most engaged of 2020 and 2021.
